Courses, Workshops and Technology Transfer
 Advanced Geotechnology currently offers the
following short courses:
These focused courses for engineers and
geoscientists run from 2 to 5 days and can be customized to the client's
special interest or geological setting. We always demonstrate the
application of selected software packages in all our courses and can
emphasize this aspect with attendees if desirable. AG provides a
3-ring binder with all course materials, extensive reference
lists and selected publications to all participants. Our courses are
occasionally run in conjunction with the Society of Petroleum Engineers,
the Petroleum Society of CIM and the Canadian Society of Petroleum
Geologists. We have now completed over 50 courses worldwide for
participants from more than 65 organizations.
STABView Workshop: With the success of our
STABView software for wellbore stability, lost circulation and sand
production risk assessment, we now offer a 1 to 3 day workshop to show
users how to get the most value from this powerful well planning and analysis
tool.
Technology Transfer: Advanced
Geotechnology staff have a wide
variety of experience in training and technology transfer initiatives.
In addition to our courses and workshops we have extensive background in
research and development, integrated cross-disciplinary training and
