STABView Workshop for Wellbore Stability and Sand Production Prediction

Weatherford Geomechanics Services is pleased to offer this one-day workshop to exploration, drilling and production staff with an interest in this important element of well design and construction. The goal of this workshop is to provide a hands-on training session with STABView, that will show users how to get the most from this powerful well planning and analysis software. Participants are encouraged to bring their own notebook computers if they wish. Desktop computers will be provided for all participants who do not bring one.

This workshop will cover the following:

• Basic operation of STABView
• Review of new technical features
• Wellbore stability analysis - case histories
• Sand production analysis - case histories
• Lost circulation/Fracturing analysis - case histories
• Guest speakers (to be confirmed)
• Open problem sets/exercises

Participants are encouraged to bring their own non-proprietary datasets to discuss and analyze in the workshop if they wish.
